NORTHERN IRELAND
There are special access procedures for the records held at the previous DVLNI office (now listed simply as “Coleraine” in the following list).

- Where a request is made with the intention to register a vehicle under a particular VRN (vehicle registration number) and it is with or without evidence then the request should be sent to K&R/D4, DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1ZZ.
- Where a request is made to ascertain any information there is about a particular mark, a standard V888 form should be completed and sent with the fee (£5) to Vehicle Record Enquiries, DVLA, Swansea SA99 1AJ. The enquirer should note on the form “please check with DVA, Coleraine” to avoid rejection by staff unfamiliar with this procedure.
